The Fox and Hounds, Denmead

Members of the Denmead community put together a bid to buy, refurbish and re-open the "Fox and Hounds" as a community pub and restaurant for the benefit of the local residents who missed it so much.

Leydene Glass and Glazing were invited to take part in this refurbishment by supplying and installing the glazing that needed replacing.

So in October 2014 we installed new UPVC windows in the lounge and restaurant areas,in the toilets and also to the upstairs flat. A lantern glass roof was fitted and new French doors in the restaurant opening out on to the patio area.

We fitted replacement fascias, cladding and guttering to the outside of the building.

The Fox and Hounds reopened its doors for the first full day of trading on 5th December 2014 and Leydene Glass and Glazing are pleased to have been part of this great community project and official "Friends of the Fox".
